HEInnovate dimensions in general To what does this part relate to? Does this belong to main results ?
DIMENSION: Leadership and Governance Main results of the self-assessment are missing completely. Finalise this section, decribe how did you score, comparison with other institutions... Measures are not formulated properly ( a measure is a plan or course of action taken to achieve a particular purpose ) The fact that the university has many years of experience as the largest educational institution in the region has an active impact on the development of entrepreneurial activity in the region. this is not a measure, it is a fact. Example of a proper measure: Develop a roadmap for the development of entrepreneurship at the university.
DIMENSION: Organisational Capacity: Funding, People and Incentives The main results from the self assessment are not presented. Information provided is general. Try to be more specific and apply measure to your environment. Example: Expansion of mutually beneficial relations between business entities and educational institutions. (general measure) Provide one day at a week for employees who seek to start some form of an enterpreneurship activity (e.g. start- up) (specific measure)
DIMENSION: Entrepreneurial Teaching and Learning This part seems to be focused on Financial literacy, but...why focus on financial literacy? Entrepreneurial teaching and learning involves exploring innovative teaching methods and finding ways to stimulate entrepreneurial mindsets. It is not just learning about entrepreneurship, it is also about being exposed to entrepreneurial experiences and acquiring the skills and competences for developing entrepreneurial mindsets. The results from the self assessment are not presented. Measure are OK, but focused on financial literacy... This dimension consists of activities such as: living labs, the use of case studies, games and simulation, training to staff in creating new curriculum related to entrepreneurship, mechanisms for students to engage in review and feedback on courses etc...
DIMENSION: Preparing and Supporting Entrepreneurs The results from the self assessment are not presented. Information provided are general. (specific)
DIMENSION: Knowledge Exchange and Collaboration The results from the self assessment are not presented. Information provided is general. Try to be more specific and apply measure to your environment. - it is uterly focused on Uzbekistan ( In the new era of development in Uzbekistan, the further development of cooperation between schools and higher education institutions for the development of education and science is important in further strengthening the integration of these two educational institutions. ) 1. The organization of student mobility, staff internships, scientific vacations on the basis of special programs in the study of innovative processes, the widespread use of achievements in education and research. try to be more specific and divide it 3. Organization and coordination of departments of the Department of Economics and Entrepreneurship of the University in order to develop business skills in the subsystems of education. how is this related to knowledge exchange and collaboration? 5. DIMENSION: The Internationalised Institution comments from IDEC The results from the self assessment are not presented. Information provided is general and focused on Uzbekistan. Measures are OK
DIMENSION: Measuring Impact The information provided in the beginning is not about measuring the impact - review HEInnovate 1. Provide information to graduates in order to create a broad picture of the economic situation. not measuring the impact 2. Provide graduates with information about successful enterprises. - not measuring the impact 3. Increase the ability to make business decisions and compare their results. not sure 4. Analyse and evaluate the results of business knowledge training at different stages. be more specific 5. Widely used in the analysis of success results and the preparation of business programs. rephrase E.g. Set internal measurements of success, measure the intended outcomes / impacts immediately following the end of measures, undertake regular mapping exercises in various areas, undertake a skills / competence audit etc.
Dimension VIII: Measuring Impact 1) The HEI regularly assesses the impact of its entrepreneurial agenda. 2) The HEI regularly assesses how its personnel and resources support its entrepreneurial agenda. 3) The HEI regularly assesses entrepreneurial teaching and learning across the institution. 4) The HEI regularly assesses the impact of start-up support. 5) The HEI regularly assesses knowledge exchange and collaboration. 6) The HEI regularly assesses the institution's international activities in relation to its entrepreneurial agenda.
SWOT analysis The SWOT is thoughtful, factual, and consistent with the preceding analysis and has a good potential for the strategy. SWOT should be based on facts not opinions (eg university has of course enormous potential how do you know? What is it based on?) Strengths and weaknesses are internal to the organisation and can be directly managed by it, while the opportunities and threats are external and the organisation can only anticipate and react to them.
SWOT strengths/internal Disciplines on entrepreneurial education are offered in the relevant subject areas. I don t understand Depending on the needs, the possibility of using not only professional contacts, but also personal contacts of project members and superiors from the university rephrase this sentence. How it is a strength?
SWOT opportunities/external Presence of possibility to offer the disciplines on entrepreneurial education in a lot of subject areas as an additionally subject this is a strength as it is internal to university Publish job advertisements internationally and attract the best local and international relevant professionals - this is a strength as it is internal to university Implementation of a various training programs on entrepreneurial education for the academic and nonacademic staff - this is a strength as it is internal to university Targeted close cooperation with employers, entrepreneurs, company managers and local government authorities with regard to internship positions and subsequent recruitment - this is a strength as it is internal to university
SWOT opportunities/external Expansion or restructuring of the field of activity of the marketing department due to - the end of the sentence is missing Examples: availability of state and international grants, State policy and modern labor market, diversification of funding resources, etc.
SWOT threats/external Absence of interest in innovative problem solving and research results of who? Labor market/academics/government/in general...
9. The main areas for further intervention on NAME OF THE HEI preparedness for future challenges Please select and prioritize least 10 activities which can be done by your HEI till end of 2023. Most of the activities are not doable by TERSU Examples: Formation of strategy and vision using KPIs, Elaboration of strategy for entrepreneurial education, Organize events that encourage interaction with external stakeholders (conferences, workshops, etc.)
To sum up... Rewrite the whole report, no bullet points Sentences starting with inappropriate verbal types (Yes...). A lot of spelling and grammar mistakes. Consider checking with tool such as Grammarly.com (or other free tool) or someone from language department. Many parts need to be elaborated more, rewritten in a more narrative sense, so when an unbiased reader will read it, he will understand. DEADLINE: 15.8.2022
