  2. Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group Who are we? Membership organisation made up of the 22 GP practices in the borough We work with secondary care doctors, nurses and other healthcare specialists as well as a management team to plan and commission health care services that meet the needs of local residents These services include urgent & emergency care, primary care, mental health, maternity, planned & community healthcare Work closely with Richmond CCG within South West London Alliance

Previous engagement 2014/15 We ran an engagement programme in 2014/15 Outcomes informed our Primary Care Strategy Includes increased access on Saturday mornings to GP appointments Includes dedicated appointments for children Consultation on the Gosbury Walk in Centre and relocation to Surbiton Health Centre Choosing Wisely informed commissioning decisions SWL wide engagement events called Grassroots

Quality in Primary Care Image result for quality charter An engagement programme about the quality of locally provided general practice and community pharmacy across Kingston and Richmond Developing a set of quality standards for primary care asking people what matters most to them Also a set of responsibilities for patients and carers asking people what these should be Programme running from September 2017 January 2018

How we are engaging Primary Care Forum in Kingston and Patient Participation Group Network in Richmond have informed content of the engagement work Hold conversations with patients and the public through existing meetings and events Surbiton Festival, health for homeless event, New Malden Farmers Market and others Conversations with staff through Practice Managers Forum, Nurses Forum Comment cards in GP practices, pharmacies, libraries, sports centres, public events Online survey https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/KandRQuality Social media campaign School and colleges Patient participation groups Publicity via our partner organisations (Healthwatch, Kingston Council, local voluntary sector)

  6. Quality standards From this we will create a set of quality pledges or quality standards Two-way process also developing a patient responsibility charter Insight from a range of stakeholders at a workshop in spring 2018 to develop this
