Interactive Multimedia for Disaster Mitigation in High School
The study explores the use of interactive multimedia based on Lectora Inspire to enhance understanding of disaster mitigation material in senior high school. It discusses the background, purpose, methodology, and results of the research, highlighting the impact on learning outcomes through an experimental method. The presentation covers the importance of technology in geography education and the effectiveness of multimedia tools in improving student engagement and comprehension.

The Use of Interactive Learning Multimedia Based on Lectora Inspire to Improve Understanding About Disaster Mitigation Material in Senior High School By : Tria Rahma Wirda, Prof. Dr. Dede Sugandi, M.Si, Dr. Ahmad Yani, M.Si Geography Education Department, Post Graduate School Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia
AGENDA OF PRESENTATION 01 Introduction Background and Purpose 02 Method Method used in this paper 03 Result and Discussion Explaining about Interactive Learning Multimedia 04 Conclusion
Introduction Background The development of information and communication technology provides many benefits in improving the quality of geography learning Geography learning in schools is considered unattractive, one of which is because the geography learning process tends to be verbal, does not involve actual facts, does not use concrete media and the latest technology (Maryani E, 2006) The position of the media is considered as a tool used by the teacher to explain the lesson WHY Interactive Learning Multimedia Based on Lectora Inspire ? The Indicator of understanding about disaster mitigation material that three aspect are translation, interpretasion and ekstrapolation Purpose To know impact Use of Interactive Learning Multimedia Based on Lectora Inspire to Improve Understanding About Disaster Mitigation Material in Senior High School 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
Method The method used in this research is EXPERIMENTAL METHOD with quasi-experimental design -Nonequivalent Control Group Design Experimental class Control class Learning by using interactive multimedia-based lectora inspire Learning using audio- visual media.
Result and Discussion The learning process in the experimental class Learning in the experimental class uses interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire with a tutorial model. Before carrying out the learning process, researchers first designed interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire.
Result and Discussion Table Descriptive Statistical Results of the pretest and posttest in the experimental class and control using SPSS version 25. Test N Minimum Maximum Average Mean (Mean) Standard Deviation Pretest Experiment 32 48 67 58,34 4,877 Posttest Experiment 32 70 93 83,91 5,348 Pretest Control Posttest Control 32 32 48 67 67 93 58,09 79.03 4,914 6,543

Hypothesis Test Results The hypothesis of this study was tested using the t-test. because the test for norm ality and homogeneity of the pretest and posttest data are known to be normally d istributed and homogeneous, parametric statistical tests. The results of the paired sample t-test in the experimental class show that the value of sig (2-tailed ) is 0.000 <0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The results of the paired sample t-test in the control class show that the value of sig (2-tailed) is 0.000 <0.05, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted The results of the independent Samples t-test, the significant value of 0.001 <0.05 then H0 is rejected.
Conclusion There is a significant change effect on understanding of disaster mitigation before and after learning using interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire on experimental . The results of understand ing disaster mitigation materials using interactive multimedia based on Lectora inspire are higher than using audio-visual media.
