  4. Ayatush Shahada(3:18-19) Allah (himself) bears witness that there is no god but He, and (so do) the angels and those who have knowledge, standing firm for justice. (There is) no god but He, the Mighty, the Wise. Verily the religion of Allah is Islam. Those to whom the book had been given did not differ until after the knowledge (of the truth) had come to them; out of envy amongst Themselves; and whosoever disbelieves in the signs of Allah, then Allah is quick in taking account

  5. What are the merits of reciting Ayatush Shahada

  6. One who recites Ayatush Shahada makes a promise with Allah (swt) and Allah always fulfills his promises It is recommended to recite it after every wajib salaat. Ayatush Shahada (3:18-19) If recited after every wajib salaat, you will be guaranteed a place in heaven!! It is found in Suratu Ali Imran

  9. Group Activity In groups you will be given 2 ayats from Aman nur Rasul to analyse and discuss..Each pair will then present their ideas and thoughts on their ayats.

  10. The Prophet used to smile when this and Ayat al Kursi was recited Aman nur Rasool The Prophet said Verily, they are both from the treasure of Allah, which lies beneath the throne. The Prophet (as) said Allah completed suratul Baqarah with 2 verses which he has given me from his treasure which is under the throne: .So learn them and teach them to your women folk and children, for they are a blessing,a recitation and a supplication!

Jibrael was once sitting with the Prophet when he heard the sound of a door opening above and he raised his eyes to the heavens saying: This is a door which has been opened in the heavens which has never been opened before. An angel descended from it and came to the Prophet (as ) saying: I bring you the good tidings of 2 lights which have been given to you and no prophet before you has ever received them: Suratul Fatiha and the final Ayaat of Suratul Baqara; you shall not recite a single letter from them except that it (the reward of the recitation) will be given to you.
