Leaving Chile Lodging Lodging 1. Not less than 9 weeks before, turn in passport to AURA admin for processing by the Ministry. The OI visa will be annulled and replaced with a standard visa with a specific end date. Transport Transport Per Diem Per Diem Medical Medical 2. No less than 10 days before, employee s ID card ( carnet ) must be surrendered for cancelation by the Ministry. Before surrendering ID card employee must close all local bank accounts, sell any automobiles or other property purchased in Chile. After ID card is annulled employee cannot complete any legal transaction in Chile.
