2024-2025 Programs M I N N E S O T A Welcome State Deputy, State Staff, Father s, PSD and District Deputies My name is Stan Nordin State Program Director My wife, Mary and I live in Becker. We have two adult children and 6 grandchildren. I grew up in the small town of Alberta, MN. I was raised Protestant. Became Catholic in 2010. I joined the Knights of Columbus seven years after becoming Catholic. I join the Knights? PRAY - LOVE - GROW
2024-2025 Programs M I N N E S O T A Importance of All Knights Being active Men in Prayer 1) Attending Daily mass 2) Regular Reconciliation 3) Adoration 1hr or more if needed 4) Joining small group or starting your own (Work with Parish Priest or Deacon) Programs to support prayer -Building Domestic Church -Into the Breach -Spiritual Reflection - COR PRAY - LOVE - GROW
2024-2025 Programs M I N N E S O T A Mission as Knights of Columbus-Together we re empowering Catholic men to live their Faith at Home, in their Parish, at work and in their Community Membership through Programs/Programs Drive Membership Programs are vital not only for Retention also Recruitment 1) Each program and Breakfast - Recruitment Opportunities 2) Community programs are a very good way to aid in recruitment 3) Involve Families in programs Community Programs: -Coats for Kids -Global Wheelchair -Free Throw Contest PRAY - LOVE - GROW

2024-2025 Programs Faith in Action Men leading their Family in Faith Service Programs: 1) Faith- Spiritual Reflection, RSVP Refund Support Vocations, Holy Hour, Into the Breach 2) Family-Food for Families, Family Prayer Night, Family Full Alive, Family of the Month/Year 3) Life- March for Life, Special Olympics* Summer Olympics Games, Ultrasound*, Pregnancy Center Support, Silver Rose 4) Community- Coats for Kids*, Global Wheelchair Mission, Habitat for Humanity, Free Throw Contest, Catholic Citizenship Essay contest, Soccer Challenge M I N N E S O T A PRAY - LOVE - GROW

2024-2025 Programs Best Practices M I N N E S O T A Start the Fraternal year off running by doing the following Complete Officer selection Fill out forms 185 and 365 and submit Submit Annual Survey Complete Safe Environment Fill out the SP-7 now and continue to fill in as needed throughout the year PRAY - LOVE - GROW
2024-2025 Programs Star Council Award Program Qualifications M I N N E S O T A Star Awards recognize outstanding achievement in membership, insurance, programming, and overall operations. Earning Star council is the marker of a high preforming Knights of Columbus Council and the goal to which every council, should strive to achieve. Star Council Award can be earned by completing the following criteria designed specifically for each council of the Knights of Columbus. -Earn the Columbian award by submitting a complete SP-7, 16 programs credits -Earn the Father McGivney award for Membership growth -Earn the Founders award by completing 2 FBE s and turning in the form -Overall Council Excellence. Be safe Environment compliant, Good standing Supreme Council, submit form 365 and annual survey of Fraternal Activity 1728 PRAY - LOVE - GROW

Turn in the completed card before supper on Saturday to be entered into a drawing for prizes. If nobody at a table, initial the card yourself stating that you did visit and gathered information. If there is no table, leave the spot blank. Open to DD s only.
