  2. MERS-CoV MERS-CoV is one of the high impact coronaviruses that have emerged in recent years. It was first identified in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Jordan in 2012. No specific therapeutics or vaccines licensed/ available; several candidates in development One of 9 WHO priority pathogens for research and development (R&D) activities W H O E P I - W I N D I G E S T

  3. MERS-CoV a global threat I. Geographic distribution of MERS-CoV is much wider than evidenced by reported human cases W H O E P I - W I N D I G E S T

  4. MERS-CoV a global threat II. SOLUTION: MERS-tracker !! - Comprehensive: animal and human studies - Interactive: - Studies directly accessible at one click - Visualization of geographic representation and results - Maps and graphs downloadable - List of studies downloadable with metadata - Up-to-date: through automated literature search Map source: FAO W H O E P I - W I N D I G E S T

  5. The MERS tracker MERS tracker is a new dashboard developed through collaboration between SeroTracker, WHO and FAO. Brings OneHealth to the forefront, now including studies in both animal and human populations to understand the scope of infection data across important reservoirs Includes studies beyond seroprevalence, including viral/PCR testing and studies with genomic testing Allows users explore, download, and visualize seroprevalence data. New filters and visualizations tailored to unique MERS use cases in consultation with WHO and FAO, laboratory and MERS research experts, academics, on-the-ground field researchers, and relevant policy makers/MoH members. https://new.serotracker.co m/ W H O E P I - W I N D I G E S T
