OLD PD PROGRAM REMINDER No longer available to enter new PD (won t be processed) Will be taken offline Sept 1 no further access Print a copy of your Approved CEUS and Approved College Credit before Sept 1 for your records You MUST know the number of approved CEUs you have from the old program to know how many are accumulated for renewal Username full email (j_krites@vwcs.net) Password 4 digits of phone number and first and last name initials capitalized (1234JK)

NEW PD/CEUS PROGRAM Will be using the Employee Kiosk for IPDPs and collection/approval of PD/CEUs IPDP will need to be transferred to program before ANY PD can be requested. Old IPDP goals can be used. Directions for entering PD/CEUs to come on the tech page LPDC forms Use current Kiosk username and password (not provided by or maintained by LPDC) LPDC can no longer enter PD you must do your work yourself
NEW IPDP AND DIRECTIONS IPDP INDIVIDUAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN MUST BE ONLINE BY OCTOBER 31 EVERYONE WITH A 5-YR LICENSE MUST UPDATE IPDP DETAILED, PICTURE-BASED DIRECTIONS FOUND ON THE LPDC FORMS LINK THE LPDC USES IPDPS TO CONFIRM AND APPROVE PD AS ALL PD SHOULD BE ABLE TO MATCH WITH AN IPDP GOAL GOALS ARE TO BE WRITTEN AS TO WHAT YOU WANT TO LEARN AND HOW THIS WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED, NOT WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO DO IN YOUR CLASSROOM. I WILL LEARN , I WILL INVESTIGATE , THROUGH COURSEWORK, WEBINARS, ETC.
REMINDERS FROM VWCS LPDC 2020 CONSISTENTLY HIGH PERFORMING TEACHERS EXEMPT FROM COMPLETING COURSEWORK OR CEUS FOR THE RENEWAL PROCESS DURING A SPECIFIC 5-YEAR PERIOD (AS PER ODE ELIGIBILITY) LET LPDC KNOW YOU ARE RENEWING USING THIS PROCESS 5 YR LICENSE, ACCOMPLISHED 4/5 YEARS, DISTRICT LEVEL OR HIGHER AWARD AND/OR COMMITTEE 3/5 YEARS. STOP AT 18 CEUS! (BOTH OLD PROGRAM AND NEW) THERE IS NO EXTRA CREDIT HERE ALL PD IS ACCUMULATED BASED ON ISSUE DATE OF LICENSE, SO RENEW EARLY NEEDED PAPERWORK MUST BE SENT ONCE PD IS ENTERED INTO KIOSK PROGRAM GT IGNITE AND PSW REQUIRE TRANSCRIPT OR CERTIFICATE TO VERIFY THEY WERE COMPLETED
REMINDERS FROM VWCS LPDC 2020 PUBLIC SCHOOL WORKS CEU CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN ON A YEARLY BASIS WITH TRANSCRIPT GIFTED TRAINING WILL BE GIVEN ON A YEARLY BASIS DEPENDENT ON COMPLETION OF ACTIVITIES VERIFICATION IS NEEDED ALL LISTED PD WAS CHECKED THIS SUMMER WITH 3 POSSIBLE OUTCOMES APPROVED (WILL NOT SHOW UP IN NEW PROGRAM BUT WILL BE ACCUMULATED BY LPDC) NOT APPROVED EXPLANATION IS GIVEN IF YOU CLICK ON THE TITLE LINK BLANK PAPERWORK IS STILL NEEDED FROM YOU OR ADMINISTRATION, NO ADDITIONAL CEUS ARE NEEDED, OUT OF DATE IF STILL ABLE TO BE USED, THIS WILL NEED TO BE INCLUDED IN NEW PROGRAM
THINGS THAT I HAVE SEEN THAT BOTHER MY HUSBAND BECAUSE I COMPLAIN TO HIM ABOUT THEM STAPLES I HAVE TO TAKE THEM OUT SO PLEASE DON T USE THEM READ DIRECTIONS THEY GIVE YOU A LOT OF GOOD INFO FILL OUT FORMS COMPLETELY WRITE THE GOAL YOU ARE REFERRING TO, BE THOROUGH, ETC ENTERING DATES AND/OR TITLES CORRECTLY WAITING UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO TURN IN PAPERWORK/RENEW ENTER PD IMMEDIATELY DON T WAIT MORE THAN A YEAR OR IT IS LOST
FINAL LPDC THOUGHTS ALL PD MUST NOW BE LISTED ON THE KIOSK PROGRAM AND TURNED IN WITHIN A YEAR OF COMPLETION (EXCEPTION ALL PD FROM AUG-DEC 2019 MAY STILL BE ENTERED BEFORE JAN 1, 2021 DUE TO CHANGE IN PROGRAM) ALL CORRESPONDING PAPERWORK SHOULD BE TURNED IN AS SOON AS PD HAS BEEN LISTED HELP SESSIONS TO BE SCHEDULED IN THE ELEM AND HS/MS OR BY APPOINTMENT WITH ANY LPDC MEMBER IPDPS WILL BE CHECKED IN A TIMELY FASHION, THEN ENTRY OF NEW PD CAN BEGIN ONCE APPROVED OTHER MEETING DATES WHEN CEUS/PAPERWORK WILL BE CHECKED -TO BE ANNOUNCED THOSE RENEWING THIS YEAR (2021) SHOULD HAVE ALREADY BEEN NOTIFIED (LET ME KNOW IF NOT) HAVE A GREAT SCHOOL YEAR!
