  1. Celeste Thompson is the Founder and Chief People Officer at Tribe Human Resources, a consulting and coaching firm specializing in human resources. With over 20 years of HR experience, Celeste collaborates with CEOs, executives, and entrepreneurs to implement effective policies and foster operational excellence, with a particular focus on cultivating positive corporate cultures. Previously, Celeste served as the Vice President of People at renowned companies like SoulCycle and The Body Shop. Her HR journey commenced at TurnberryIsle, a luxury golf resort, and expanded to other high-end brands in Miami post-college. Eventually, she returned to her native New York, ascending the HR hierarchy and playing a pivotal role in establishing Google s New York office in 2003. She spent a significant portion of her career, 14 years at EILEEN FISHER, contributing to a team that tripled the company's size over a decade, where she was deeply influenced by the firm's culture of respect and kindness. This inspiration led to the founding of Tribe, aimed at helping organizations implement best practices and policies while fostering environments of kindness, inclusivity, and respect. Celeste is passionate about extending large company expertise to smaller businesses and nonprofits that traditionally lack robust HR support, particularly those without existing HR frameworks. I believe that the way things start, is how they end up . Celeste earned her BA from St. Thomas University in Miami and holds a Diversity and Inclusion certification from Cornell University, among other qualifications in organizational development and change management. She serves on several boards, including Share, and is a founding board member of SEEDs, which supports young women. Residing in South Orange, NJ, Celeste is a mother to a college senior. Despite being a self-described workaholic, she enjoys exotic travel, live music, and practicing mindfulness in her leisure time.
