Process of I-9 Verification in Workday An Overview
Purpose Verify the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired in the United States All U.S. employers must complete the I-9 form for every individual they hire Citizens and noncitizens alike Both the employee and employer must complete the form

After the section 1 is submitted by the new hire, I9 Ambassador and HR receives a Workday task to complete Section 2 Employee must bring originals of the acceptable documentation to either their I9 Ambassador / Human Resources to complete this task I9 Ambassador / HR verifies the original documents, fills out, and submits Section 2 .
