1. DAY-NULM Sr. No. 1. Eligibility Eligibility Criteria Candidates Candidate from urban poor households, should not have undergone skill development training in the last 3 years except for advanced training. 2. Qualification He/She should be atleast 5th Pass subject to various courses. 3. Proportion of Candidates SC in proportion to population, Minimum 30% women, minimum 15%- Minority and minimum 3% differently abled. ** As per Amendments issued on 06thJune 17, any candidate between 18 to 35 years of age, belonging to a household where annual income does not exceed Rs 3 lacs. 2

3. (a) Key Features of Urban Centers Urban Centres to be created in the districts of Punjab with population above 1 lac. Set up and Managed by Common Empanelled Training Partners Batch Capacity of atleast 15 candidates and 2 to 6 batches per centre. 7

6. Funds Position Funds released by PSULM : Rs 11 Cr. Funds Spent for Ist instalment As on 06.07.17 :Rs 1.87 Cr. Funds being sent to DCs for 2nd & 3rd instalment to Training partners :Rs 5 Cr Balance Fund with PSDM : Rs(11-6.87)= Rs 4.13 Cr Funds Requirement for FY2017-18 : Rs 44.42 Cr (Rs 40.40 * 200 hrs Target(31416 candidates including carry forward) 31416) Balance Funds Required :Rs(44.42-11)=Rs 33.42 Cr 8

3. (b) Key Features of MSDCs/HSDCs Center of Excellence Located at Prominent places . 20,000 to 30,000 sqft built up area Provision of Boys and Girls Hostels PPP model: Concession agreement with reputed national training partners for 10 years. 9

MSDC Ludhiana Located in premises of Industrial Training Institute (ITI),Gill road,Ludhiana. PSDM has partnered with M/s Gram Tarang Employability Training Services for operating MSDC,Ludhiana. MSDC,Ludhiana expected to provide skill training to approx. 2000 youth every year. MSDC Jalandhar Located in Industrial Focal Point for Leather Industry on Jalandhar-Kapurthala road. PSDM has partnered with M/s IL&FS Skills for operating MSDC,Jalandhar. MSDC,Jalandhar expected to provide skill training to approx. 1700 youth every year. 10

MSDC Amritsar Located in complex of Punjab Institute of Textile Technology (PITT) on National Highway opposite Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. PSDM has partnered with M/s Yashaswi Academy for Skills for operating MSDC,Amritsar. MSDC,Amritsar expected to provide skill training to approx. 1700 youth every year. MSDC Hoshiarpur Located in the premises of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) on Hoshairpur-Jalandhar road. PSDM has partnered with M/s Uday (Avteg Pvt. Ltd) for Skills for operating MSDC,Hoshiarpur. MSDC,Hoshiarpur expected to provide skill training to approx. 1700 youth every year. 11

HSDC Patiala Located within Govt. Medical College and Hospital on Patiala-Sangrur road. PSDM has partnered with MIHER Skills Academy for operating HSDC,Patiala. HSDC,Patiala expected to provide skill training to approx. 1500 youth every year. HSDC Amritsar Located within Govt. Medical College/Hospital,Circular road, Amritsar.
