It reached a high of 10,171 during the end of the tradingsession,toclosebackdownat10,154.05.Sectorwise, banking was the best performing, up +0.27% driven by QIB (+1.28%), while the worst performing sector was Transportation down -0.59% due to QGTS (-1.1%). Total trading value was up compared to yesterday at QAR 404.7 million. Ooredoo s ORDS netprofit for thefirst half of2024 was upby+4.3%comparedtothesameperiodlastyear,foratotal of QAR 1.87 billion. In contrast, the net profit of Alkhaleej Takaful Insurance AKHI decreased by -1.87% for H1 2024comparedtoH12023,toreachQAR42.76million. Technical Analysis of QE Index Today s candle was another spinning candle, with a slight change to the upside. The main index is still holding up above the short-term moving averages, since the pullback we have witnessed on July 17th. Over the last eleven trading sessions, the index was trading in a range between the current support and resistance area 10000 10200. Technical Analysis of WDAM We pointed out the first week of June the stock movement, which came in a trading range between 1.900 2.500 QAR, since August 2023. During the last month, we had a clear move and the stock managed to breakout above the 2.500 QAR resistance. Since then, we have witnessed an uptrend continuation and for this week, thestock price has been trading near our target price 3.150 QAR. Stop loss: according to the degree of risk tolerance.
