  5. STATUS REVIEW MEETING (SRM) Monthly meetings are also held with a random set of the students (who had registered with any of the QEEE courses) A final status review meeting was called on 4thApril 2015 with some students, along with all the concerned local faculties, QEEE Coordinator and System Administrator

  6. OBJECTIVE OF SRM To know the status and progress of the QEEE courses To collect the verbal/Written feedback from random sets of students To discuss infrastructural requirements for the smooth execution of QEEE courses To understand, discover and discuss various problems faced by local faculties and students To consider some suggestions for the smooth conduction and improvement of this program at college level

  7. STAKEHOLDERS A proper feedback is collected from various stakeholders during status review meetings The stakeholders involved are: Management/Director Coordinator Local Faculty System Administrator Students 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

  8. DIRECTORS FEEDBACK The Administrator and local faculties is excellent. Almost all the students find this Direct to Student (D2S) course beneficial for them. Students are getting an opportunity to attend the lectures of eminent Professors from IITs The college faculties are improving their teaching skills and also learning new concepts through this program Mid term break is introduced in this phase which is good to adjust internal teaching schedule and exams Spoken Tutorials (IIT, Bombay) is helping students in their placement so some initiative like this should also be incorporated in QEEE commitment of the Coordinator, System 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6.

  9. COORDINATORS FEEDBACK Coordinator: All the courses were beneficial for the students. DTH Facility is included in the infrastructure for the uninterrupted delivery All the communication should also be mailed to the Coordinator along with System Administrator and Local Faculty. All the classes were executed at our end and attended by good number of students Some time it was found difficult to adjust the college time table with QEEE time table Weekly connectivity report information or report received regarding the course progress or completion from QEEE end. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. is received but no 6.

  10. LOCAL FACULTYS FEEDBACK Local Faculty: Most of the course content is relevant to the University Curriculum There should be at least 5 classes (2 Hours Each) in each QEEE course Its not as useful as the actual class because it becomes monotonous due to the video mode delivery Core concepts taught by IIT faculty helped students in GATE preparation and placement interviews Need for uninterrupted network connectivity for the smooth functioning of the program 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

  11. SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS FEEDBACK System Administrator: Most of the time the connectivity was good Audio-Video Quality was satisfactory The QEEE support staff always provide help and solution in case of any technical problem All the manuals and installation of software and Server maintenance were quite good 1. 2. 3. training provided for the 4.

  12. STUDENTS FEEDBACK Course content is good but more graphics should be used and some questionnaire should be there during each lecture. There should be at least 5 classes (2 Hours Each) in each QEEE course Query handling process is good but it is not possible for every student to get a response if he/she have some doubts or queries A proper examination and evaluation system should be there on the basis of the contents covered in the class All the students who clear the examination should be rewarded with a course completion certificate Need for uninterrupted network connectivity for the smooth functioning of the program Spoken Tutorial type initiatives should also be ibncluded in this Program 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7.

  13. INITIATIVES AT PCE We always try our level best to improve the overall class environment by improving Audio-Video quality The DTH facility is also added for uninterrupted delivery and recording of lectures The faculty training is also provided to the local faculty to conduct the courses successfully The lectures are recoded in CDs and also is being shown to the students who were not able to attend the classes All the lectures are also kept in college library and CDs may be issued on request from library to any faculty or student A list of various sessions and Videos are available at the Central pool/Administrator All lectures are available as and when required by students and faculties

  14. CONCLUDING REMARKS This D2S program should be continued for the betterment of the students who were not able to get admission in IITs or NITs Student s Query handling should be improved and some measures should be taken to handle various queries at the same time The examination, evaluation and certification should be there to motivate the student participation. Some faculty training session should be organized along with the Meet the faculty sessions Every reminder of class or the session should be mailed to the Coordinator along with the System Administrator and local faculty All the mails regarding meetings or status should also be sent to the Director/Principal Review Meeting and Meetings Adiministrators should also be arranged at New Delhi of students and System
