Contingency plan: to use electronic platforms to do moderation in a lockdown situation

  24. 4. Conclusion

  25. Conclusion IMPORTANT NOTES TO THE GRADE 12 DESIGN TEACHER Start working with learners to prepare a photographic presentation of process books and products for each learner in the case of online moderation. A Power Point presentation would be sufficient and manageable for all teachers and schools. See that social distancing are followed at all times in the design class. This would include e.g. when cleaning equipment, using tools in certain disciplines, putting up exhibition, Paper 2 examination, etc. With the removal of the mid-year examination, Term 2 test in the second term is part of formal assessment, but will be set by the teacher and be written towards the end of the term. Refer to the Amended Design PAT 2020 document for all requirements, assessment rubrics, guidelines, etc.
