  7. SMU Classification: Restricted Projector Requirements Zero keystone installation. At least 3500 ANSI Lumens. Network enabled. Remote monitoring preferred. All current AV connection preferred with future proofing, such as HDMI and HD-base-T. Ease of use and ease of maintenance. This includes minimum time needed to change bulb and clean filter. Preferred to have multiple aspect ratio settings. Preferred format is either 16:9 or 16:10. Native resolution at least 1280 x 800 (16:10).

  8. SMU Classification: Restricted Projector Requirements (cont d) Projector Model recommended should at least last for the next 4 years. Colour similarity for the projectors as each Seminar Room will have two projectors, placed side by side for projection. Feature to display logo file. Uploading/Transferring of the logo file via network. Able to mute the display when it s in whiteboard mode. Able to freeze image. Feature to mass broadcast emergency message/display whenever necessary. Able to show Emergency Messages from the Emergency Display System.

  9. SMU Classification: Restricted Wireless Projection Systems Allows wireless projection from Windows-based client, as well as Mac-based client. Other OS can be provided as an added advantage. Allows limited wireless projection from mobile devices, such as tablets and smart phones, IOS- based and/or Android-based and/or Windows-based. Display mirroring is the preferred way for wireless projection. Has a way to authenticate the user before allowing for wireless projection, such as: Via Active Directory, locality mechanism, or other means that tenderers deem suitable Security features that allow user to login on different level (For example, Admin, User etc) User able to login using existing AD (Active Directory) - optional. User name will appear on the screen once login is successful - optional. Ability to allow projection from mobile, tablet, MAC and Windows laptop/notebook. Ease of use of system and maintenance of system. System to allow user selection of projector for projection via room name. Needs to have the flexibility of cross subnet.

  10. SMU Classification: Restricted Current Emergency Display System Existing system is Crestron Fusion RV If the proposed projector cannot communicate with Crestron Fusion RV, please propose a replacement Emergency Display System (requirements in Section 6)

SMU Classification: Restricted Other Things to Consider Include installation and programming Source code will be provided by SMU Include cables (av, network, control, power, etc.) and brackets Allow to re-use existing, but contractor to take full responsibility Include 3 years on-site warranty (hardware, software, etc.) All AV interface should be at the rack, and not on top of projector To indicate if there is a need for yearly maintenance of the projectors , eg. overhaul Encouraged to propose more than one solution (lamp-based or laser- based) On-site spares (5%) to be included in the cost (including cables and other accessories) To make sure spares have matching color tones Equipment or services not listed in this tender document, but is necessary for the completion of the project should be included in the costing
