Benchmarks and KPIs for Success 3rd Grade Literacy KPI: Increase 3rd-grade reading proficiency, as measured by the PM3 FAST assessment, from 59% in SY 2024 to 71% by end of SY 2030, targeting an average annual growth rate of 2% across all subgroups. Algebra I Success KPI: Increase students passing both the Algebra I course and the Algebra End of Course (EOC) exams throughout Middle School from 72% in SY 2024 to 84% by end of SY 2030, targeting an average annual growth rate of 2% across all subgroups. College and Career Acceleration KPI: Achieve across all subgroups, an increase in elementary students obtaining digital tool industry certifications from 8% in SY 2024 to 38% by end of SY 2030; an increase in 5th-grade science proficiency from 58% in SY 2024 to 76% by end of SY 2030; an increase in middle school students accessing acceleration opportunities from 70% in SY 2024 to 93% by end of SY 2030; and an increase in markers of acceleration for high school students from 74% in SY 2024 to 92% by end of SY 2030. Graduation Rate KPI: Attain 95% annually for all subgroups.
Strategic Plan Goals (2025-2030) Academic Excellence: To provide every student with a learning experience that empowers them to improve academic skills and prepare for post-secondary success. Exceptional Workforce: To recruit, cultivate, and retain exceptional talent to positively influence students and advance academic and organizational excellence. Community Connection: To enhance the School District's reputation and appeal by building trust, fostering pride, and positioning it as the leading choice for families and business partners. Operational Efficiency: To ensure efficiency within district operations that contributes to the success of academic excellence.
Objective E1: Recruit a strong pool of candidates for all classifications within Brevard Public Schools. PI: Increase open position fill rate from 90% to 95% by end of SY 2025 and maintain a 95% fill rate through SY 2030. Previous PI: Increase candidate pool for all positions ensuring reflection of the demographics of students and community. Objective C1: Strengthen public trust in district decisions and leadership. PI: Secure at least 10 positive media stories each quarter highlighting district initiatives. Previous PI: Increase in media reach/readership data and increase survey measurement outcome regarding public trust. SMART KPIs: Sample Improvements from Last Year
