  2. Starter task What are the three sides of the health triangle? If you smoke what side of the health triangle would you be damaging? If you never go out with friends what side of the health triangle could be effected? If you need help with mental health, who could you ask for help?

  3. Use the book, your knowledge or computers to answer these questions as a team 1. Draw the health triangle and label each side correctly 2. Measure and write down your resting pulse rate 3. Find out the healthy range for pulse rate for teenagers and adults 4. Write down three things you can do to stay healthy 5. Write down three things that could lead to bad health 6. How many portions of fruit and veg should you have a day

  4. Starter task: use key word wall or books What is missing; physical health, mental health, ? Name two superfoods? Name the disease that eating blueberries is supposed to help prevent? What chemical in blueberries helps fight cancer? What can smoking do to your body?

  5. Starter task What chemical in blueberries and broccoli are supposed to help fight cancer and heart disease? What aspect of health can be damaged by smoking? (social, mental or physical?) HPV is a virus that can be spread by sexual contact. Give a way this virus could be stopped from spreading? If you have the cold; how can you stop it spreading to your family? Now write two questions of your own, on the health topic, for another group to answer
