Title I Meeting Title I Meeting Walt Disney Elementary 2022-2023 School Year
Title I Title I What does this mean? What does this mean? Title I is a component of the federal government's Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) The Title I, Part A program provides financial assistance to school districts to help ensure that all children meet challenging state academic standards. The program requires districts to target funds to the schools with the highest percentages of children from low-income families. Services are then focused on students in our school who are failing, or most at risk of failing, to meet state academic standards. Title I money is to be spent on supplemental resources to support students and families Parents of children in Title I schools have a right to be involved and have input on how we spend the Title I money in our school.

Title I Title I Planned Use of Funds Planned Use of Funds Title I Grant Money has been used to support: Additional Staffing (specifically intervention staff) Additional Instructional Resources Summer Programing Family Events Below are specific resources that would be funded through Title I Grant Money for Walt Disney Elementary: Additional Academic Intervention Service Providers Funding for afterschool tutoring Funding for school events and family engagement
