A LITTLE ABOUT US ANOKA-RAMSEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE Located in Coon Rapids and Cambridge Over 1,500 PSEO students on our campuses Over 2,500 Concurrent Enrollment students across the northern Twin Cities metro Dual Enrollment allows students to meet both high school graduation requirements and ARCC degree/transfer requirements
Concurrent Enrollment Located at the High School Credentialied Teachers Students enroll in courses during the regular school day, at SLP. Spring Lake Park teachers meet the ARCC requirements to teach the course. Stay Involved ARCC Student Staying at the high school allows the student to maintain all of their high school activities CE students have access to all of the on campus and online resources that any ARCC student has
CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT COURSES AT SPRING LAKE PARK CMST 1110 - Intro to Communications, 3 cr ENGL 1121 - College Writing and Critical Reading, 4 cr HIST 1111 - Modern World Civilizations I, 4 cr HPER 1120 - Wellness for Life, 4 cr HPER 1205 - Introduction to Exercise Science, 3 cr MATH 1200 - College Algebra I, 3 cr MATH 1210 - PreCalculus, 5 cr PHYS 1317 - General Physics I, 5 cr In the works... Art courses for 2023-2024
Concurrent Enrollment Students need to meet both the program eligibility and the pre- requisites for the courses they want to enroll in PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY COURSE PRE-REQUISITES General Education Courses: 2.6 GPA Juniors: 2.6 GPA Seniors: 2.6 GPA Math Courses: College Algebra I 2.8 GPA and HS Algebra II with a C or higher PreCalculus 2.8 GPA and HS Algebra II with a B or higher 10th grade: 3.0 GPA * not all courses are eligible for 10th grade enrollment Physics: be enrolled in ARCC College Algebra or Precalc, or have completed those courses with a C or higher.
Concurrent Enrollment Admission/Registration Process ARCC Course Registration Register through Spring Lake Park Apply to ARCC Your HS will direct students to apply prior to the start of the course. Typically in Tri 1 During the first week of the course, you will be directed on how to register by your school/teacher Students should review the registration guide to select ARCC courses

PSEO - Postsecondary Enrollment Options Located at the College Course Offerings Can also be online. Students will select from available course times. Flexible for Full or Part time. Most ARCC coursework is available to PSEO students. Nursing, PTA, and Developmental courses are restricted. ARCC Involvement Academic Advising PSEO students have access to almost all clubs and activities and are encouraged to get involved. Assigned advisor based on student's major or transfer plans.

PSEO Admissions Program Eligibility TRADITIONAL PSEO Juniors: 3.0 GPA Seniors: 2.5 GPA 10TH GRADE - CAREER AND TECHNICAL PSEO 8th grade MCA Reading Score of Meets or Exceeds Can take ARCC Placement exam if no MCA score
PSEO Admissions Process Application and Documents Deadline for Fall 2023: Apply to ARCC Submit Qualifying Documents Online Application April 15th - Priority PSEO Notice of Student Registration form (23-24) High School Transcript MCA Score (if 10th grade) July 1st - Final Work with your HS to submit materials
AFTER ADMISSION PSEO NEXT STEPS Online Orientation Academic Advising Appointment Self-guided Orientation to ARCC policies and need to know information Registration Meeting to discuss high school requirements along with major and transfer plans Students will have access to register online following their advising appointment Registration Opens Early April
