Order of Selection Closure, Effective 7/1/19 As of July 1, 2019, the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) is operating under a closed Order of Selection, meaning that all priority categories are now closed. With all categories closed, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) will be creating a waiting list. 3 3/22/2025

  4. PA Bulletin 00-19-02 On July 1, 2019, Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) and Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) jointly released Bulletin 00-19-02, OVR Referrals During a Period when OVR s Order of Selection is Closed. 4 3/22/2025

  5. Current OVR Customers with Active IPEs Existing customers of the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) who had an Individualized Plan for Employment (IPE) in place by June 30, 2019, with OVR will not have a disruption in services. 5 3/22/2025

ODP Employment Services The closure of the OVR order of selection affects the request for and authorization of the following ODP employment-related services: Consolidated, P/FDS, Community Living Waivers and base-funding: Advanced Supported Employment; Supported Employment; and Education Support Adult Autism Waiver: Supported Employment; and Career Planning 6 3/22/2025

  7. What is the impact on Subminimum Wage? There is no change when an individual is seeking to enter subminimum wage employment under the age of 25. 7 3/22/2025

  8. Small Group Employment Effective 7/1/19, Small Group Employment and Transitional Work Services may be provided without referring a participant to OVR as OVR does not provide these services. 8 3/22/2025
