Partner Info The city of Trebinje (population 31.500) is located in the south east part of the Republic of Srpska (Bosnia and Herzegovina). It is located on the banks of Trebi njicariver (the biggest sinking river in Europe)., in the area of high potential for tourism, close to Dubrovnik, Herceg Novi and Boka Kotorska (Bay of Kotor). With significant potential for specific form of tourism (cultural heritage, natural habitats, karst environment), it has stong ambitions to further develop tourism based on high enviornmental quality. Role in the euPolis project City of Trebinje will be one of FL follower cities in the euPOLIS project. It will serve as a location for capacity building of the local staff in mastering innovative spatial and urban planning based on NBS for improvement of PH & WB (public health and well-being) for possible implementation in the future projects. Key Personnel Sla ana Sko aji , Deputy Mayor, Bachelor of Economics, for many years she worked as a computer science profesor in High school. She has an extensive experince in working with NGO-s and many projects.She will act as a Project Coordinator. Natasa Tu i (F), the key professional for coordination of the local engagements is graduate transportation planning engineer. Ms. Tu i is full time employee in the City administration. In addition to her professional role as a planner in transportation infrastructure, she is also in charge of coordinating international projects. Aleksandra Lozo, full time employee in the City administration for 5 years. Before this, worked in NGO-s.
