Action items of SC-ESMP-1 3.1 Expert Team on the development of the Guide to the GDPFS (ET-Guide) Schedule a virtual meeting of Expert Team (Dr Andrew Tupper) [DONE] Submit the revised table of contents and timeline for the development of the Guide on GDPFS (Andrew Tupper) 3.2 Expert Team on Operational Weather Forecasting System (ET-OWFS) Schedule a virtual meeting of Expert Team (Mr Ken Mylne) [DONE] Review the deliverables of all Expert Teams and provide the updated timeline considering the change of the work modality because of the current pandemic (The Secretariat) -> Discussed in agenda item 3.2 3.4 Expert Team on Operational Climate Prediction System (ET-OCPS) Coordinate the joint meeting of ET-OCPS and ET-CSISO (The Secretariat) -> Co-leads meeting will be held on 1 December 2021.
Action items of SC-ESMP-1 5.3 Seamless GDPFS - Pilot projects Reviewthe templateof the pilot project proposal (SC-ESMP members); The Secretariat circulate the templatesoon -> will circulate with the updated Roadmap to articulate the viewpoint. Collectthecontact information of Focal Points of the pilot projects identified in the Collaborative Framework (The Secretariat) Propose a pilot project linked to GAW Programme (Dr Vincent-Henri Peuch) 5.4 General discussion on S/GDPFS Identify and propose the membership of JET-ESI from ET-OWFS and GAW (Mr Ken Mylne and Dr Vincent-Henri Peuch); confirm representative from TC pilot project -> To be discussed in agenda item 5.2. Ken confirmed his membership in JET-ESI. 6.4 Integration of cryospheric information in the GDPFS framework Follow-up the development of pilot project on the polar prediction especially for the seasonal forecast of sea-ice (Prof Francois Engelbrecht and Mr Wong, Wai Kin) -> SG-CRYO is developing the implementation plan to develop GDPFS activity
Action items of SC-ESMP-1 6.5 GDPFS Centres Audit Report back the outcome of the coming meeting of ET-AC to SC-ESMP (The Secretariat) -> To be reported to the next SC-ESMP meeting 6.7 Introduction of CBs meetings and INFCOM-1(III) documentation plan Acquire the detailed information on the proposedrequirements to RSMCs including RCCs regarding SERCOM-1(II) doc 5-1-4(1) and report to SC-ESMP Members (The Secretariat) -> To be reported to the next SC-ESMP meeting Relevant action would be developed according to acquired information (The Secretariat) -> Discussed in agenda item 3.2
