Joshua 24:15 But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve but as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.
It Matters Who We Walk With Stand With Sit With
Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the one who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers
Psalm 1:2 but his delight is in the law (Instruction) of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Psalm 1:3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
The Weight We Give to God In Our Life Matters
Deuteronomy 30:15 Now listen! Today I am giving you a choice between life and death, between prosperity and disaster.
Deuteronomy 30:19 Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!
Deuteronomy 30:20 You can make this choice by loving the LORD your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life.

Deuteronomy 29:29 The LORD our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms of these instructions.
