Fundamentals of Computer Networks: Congestion Control and Queuing Algorithms
In computer networking, understanding congestion control at routers and various queuing algorithms is crucial for efficient data transmission. Explore concepts like FIFO, priority queuing, and the challenges associated with drop policies. Learn about packet scheduling, bandwidth allocation, and latency management in network communication. Delve into the complexities of managing packet flows and prioritizing data based on different algorithms. Gain insights into how these mechanisms impact overall network performance and user experience.

Todays Objective Identify reasons for the development of feudalism in Japan.
RSG p. 81-82 1.What was one similarity between Japanese and European feudalism. 2.What religions did knights and samurai practice? 3.What impact did the code of bushido have on Japan?
Answers 1. In both Europe and Japan individual land owners gained power because they did not have strong centralized government. In Europe, the landowners were called lords and in Japan they were called daimyo. 2. Knights were Christians and the Samurai practice Shintoism and Zen Buddhism. 3. Many Japanese have a strong sense of loyalty to their family. This attitude stems from the old code of bushido which focuses on honor and respect.
