ILRI Collaborations with CRPs: Enhancing Livestock Research Impact
ILRI plays a vital role in 8 CRP consortia, focusing on areas such as dryland systems, sustainable intensification, gender analyses, and more. Collaborating with institutions like CIAT, ICARDA, and WorldFish Center, ILRI aims to improve livestock systems for better lives, particularly in developing regions. Despite challenges like high transaction costs and funding uncertainty, ILRI continues its efforts in 4-5 CRPs in the second phase, emphasizing the importance of aligning projects for maximum impact.
