Vocational Education and Training (VET) is education that focuses on relevance to the workplace and inspires growth and quality outcomes. Training packages provide industry-standard skills and knowledge, while competency demonstrates industry readiness. Being competent means consistently applying skills to meet workplace standards. Unlike other subjects, competency requires proficiency in all aspects, not just achieving a high percentage. Assessment methods in VET may include written tasks and more, ensuring students are well-prepared for industry demands.
