IB Diploma Programme Information Session for Year 2 Students and their parents/caregivers November 21, 2019
Exams and CAS Exit Interviews take place in May. Please DO NOT book any trips or events during this time.

Core Subject: Extended Essay EE Feedback Session with Supervisor MANDATORY Second Formal Reflection Session (Document on Managebac on the Interim Reflection portion of the Planning and Progress Form, Supervisor will electronically initial it) November 6 Revising and Refining the EE It is strongly suggested that students make revisions quickly and submit final EE early to avoid any technical glitches. November 7-29 FINAL EE DEADLINE!!! Final Extended Essay uploaded to Managebac and Turnitin.com ONE printed copy to be submitted to Ms. Domaradzki-Kofoed December 2 Viva Voce/Concluding Interview MANDATORY Third Formal Reflection To be completed on Managebac on the Planning and Progress Form January 8/2020
Core Subject: Theory of Knowledge Initial Information meeting to present TOK process to students and provide timeline Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2019 Lunch First Formal Interaction & TK/PPD completion unpacking the six TOK Prescribed Titles All students complete first component of TK/PPD on Managebac Thursday, Nov. 14, 2019 (Block B & Lunch) Declaration of topic choice (no meeting) to declare topic/Prescribed Title on Managebac or electronically NO TOPIC CHANGES MAY BE MADE AFTER THIS DATE Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019 Second Formal Interaction & TK/PPD completion to see candidate`s notes, detailed essay outline and briefly discuss candidate`s ideas Students must be prepared in advance for this interaction All students complete the TK/PPD form on Managebac November 28-29, 2019 (approx. 20 min per student) (Schedule to be posted on Managebac)
Core Subject: Theory of Knowledge Continued Draft submission For feedback and PREDICTED GRADE to submit hard copy of TOK essay Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019 Third Formal Interaction & TK/PPD completion to get general feedback - comments only to use the comments provided to revise/refine the final version of essays All students complete the TK/PPD form on Mangebac January 27 & 28, 2020 (approx. 30 min per student) Final Submission To receive final student essays Upload to Managebac and Turnitin.com Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020 Essay upload Essay upload to IBIS TK/PPD upload to IBIS TK/PPF upload to IBIS Predicted grades Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020
